13 : The New Employee Training Program
On the way to the Elseong Group Training Center.
He turned on his phone and checked the map app. The ride would take about two hours and twenty minutes.
Tae-seok considered calling his mom, but decided against it, thinking it would be impolite to make a personal call in front of the other new hires.

A Deputy, a senior with three to five years of experience. Tall and with a pleasant demeanor, he addressed the new employees, his juniors.

Everything was new, and everything was unfamiliar.

The bus they were on departed from Seoul, and after a long journey, arrived in the coastal city of Sokcho.
The vehicle entered the Elseong Group Training Center.
The training center wasn't just for Elseong Group.

His heart swelled with emotion.

It was an atrium structure, with a large plaza in the center supported by massive pillars. The second floor had about 100 rooms, from A01 to A50 and B01 to B50.

The women were directed separately from the men.
“All female employees, please go up to the third floor.”
That was it. The dorms were separated by gender.
It made sense. In a group living situation, you never know what might happen, so it was natural to separate men and women.
Tae-seok followed the instructions and went to his room.
Two people to a room. He had expected it to some extent... but it was incredibly inconvenient.
The only silver lining was that it wasn't four to a room.
A small room. A bunk bed.
‘Should I take the bottom bunk? Or the top? I'll have to talk to him when he gets here.’
Tae-seok stopped thinking and changed his clothes.
The tracksuit they had given him.
On the back of the top was the word 'Elseong Group', and on the front was the Elseong Group symbol: the English letter L and a pentagram symbolizing a star.
‘It looks a bit tacky…’
Still, it was a uniform.
It would feel normal once everyone was wearing it.
Just then, *creak*.
The door opened, and a man walked in.
“Hello. This is room B13, right?”
A shy-looking man stepped in.
“Yes, that's right. Come on in.”

“Isn't it? I'm Kim Tae-seok.”
“Ah, Mr. Tae-seok? I'm Kang Min-yong. It's a pleasure to meet you.”
He had a warm, friendly face.
